The mug is beautifully shaped and clearly handmade, but I was surprised and disappointed to find the shop name stamped on the side near the handle. This detail was not shown or mentioned in the listing. To me, this took away from the overall artistry and made it feel more like branded merchandise than a pure ceramic piece. I also found the included insert about the donating 5% to a nonprofit a bit off-putting; especially given the already premium price point. I prefer to choose when and how I support causes, and would have appreciated knowing this ahead of time. Transparency in listings is really important to me.
